Description
Each session is 45 minutes long and is inside the Curling Rink. A parent or guardian must be with their child during the session. These are fun-focused social sessions designed to give parents something fun to do with their kids and introduce them to skateboarding in a safe place with other young kids and their parents. Our coaches will be on-site to give pointers to parents, encourage the little ones to try skateboarding, and help out where needed. We will have our small ramps set up for kids to explore, balance boards, tech decks, and coloring pages.
Skills Covered
We can offer parents tips & techniques to help them feel more confident at the skatepark with their little ones and help them better understand skateboarding culture and skatepark etiquette.
This fun-focused course was created to introduce kids to skateboarding in a skateboard ONLY environment, without the outside distractions that can make it extra challenging to keep them engaged. Be it butt boarding, belly boarding, knee boarding, or trying to stand up and ride, it is all skateboarding if it’s on a skateboard. Let them explore skateboarding in a fun safe environment and feel supported in their exploration.

A skateboard (if you have one)
A helmet (if you have one)
Active footwear
Pads (recommended but some refuse to wear them)
Appropriate active clothing
Refillable water bottle
Snacks (optional)
(We have extra skateboards, helmets, and pads for those in need)

We provide a safe place for you and your little ones to play around on skateboards. This is not a structured coaching session. These sessions allow parents to engage with their young kids, be social, and explore skateboarding in a safe, controlled environment with small ramps and features. (Skateboards and gear available)
